<p>Start with your frozen bananas and add water. We usually fill the water up to the blades of the blender. (Hint: you don&#8217;t need a vita-mixer for a rockin&#8217; blender &#8211; you just need a blender with a metal on metal base).</p>

<p>Blend without ice &#8211; just bananas and water. Then add protein powder.</p>

<p>I&#8217;m trying to use up some vanilla whey isolate, so I added cocoa powder to make it chocolate.</p>

<p>Slamming the door shut, this is me realizing it&#8217;s a losing battle. Black pants&lt;dog hair dragging those boys in. At least I had a fun breakfast to prepare for the long haul. (I really need a new sense of humor).</p>

<p>There&#8217;s coconut milk, coconut ice cream, coconut oil, and coconut milk. I stumbled upon this at the store, thought it was interesting, and at least a shot. Here&#8217;s the ingredients, they are a little nutty:</p>

<p>Oddly enough, it tasted like vanilla yogurt. I&#8217;m more of a plain Greek gal, but I topped it with my favorite combo at the moment: PB2+ Banana + Chia seeds+ Quaker Oats Squares.</p>

<p><strong>Do you ever get in to the same food modes?</strong> Back in college, when I was short of cash and concise food choices I ate nothing but Corn Flakes and Taco Bell Bean Burritos for a semester. If you have ever read Intuitive Eating or familiar with the main themes, you eventually get tired of eating the same thing. <img src='http://mb-vb.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<p>I packed a few snacks since I was unsure of how the day was going to play out and when I would have a chance for lunch. I don&#8217;t vary too much on my snacks, but that&#8217;s because I know I can count on them taming my hunger.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small; font-family: helvetica;">Depending on what you&#8217;re looking for out of breakfast, you get about 30 more calories, more carbs, more nutrients, and less fat. I feel like it&#8217;s a good choice to change things up once in a while.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small; font-family: helvetica;">Kairo will just have to settle for his bone.</span></p>

I recently crossed it (and chia on the cheap) at the grocery store a few weeks ago and picked it up. I was slightly hesitant to buy because we don&#8217;t keep nuts or nut butters in the house often. </span></p>
<div><span style="font-size: small; font-family: helvetica;">Why? I have a tendency to eat nuts and nut butter by the fistful or spoonful in a matter of days. Hence, I rarely invite the opportunity for such products to make my pantry their home. I try to limit my temptations to dark chocolate. <img src='http://mb-vb.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: small; font-family: helvetica;">Back to PB2 &#8211; two tablespoons = <strong>45</strong> calories. </span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: small; font-family: helvetica;">Ingredients = <strong>Roasted Peanuts, Sugar, and Salt</strong>.. </span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: small; font-family: helvetica;">It&#8217;s not the calories that got the PB2 into the shopping cart. It was the ingredients (at least they don&#8217;t lie about the sugar by giving it a name of some other overly processed chemical agent) and the powdered consistency. The beauty of PB2 is it&#8217;s to messy to consume by the fistful and to dry to consume by the spoonful. </span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: small; font-family: helvetica;">I&#8217;ve been doing my due diligence and measuring by the tablespoon &#8211; but I don&#8217;t prepare it with water, I use it more to flavor a protein shake, or as a sprinkled agent on top of a dish. I love peanuts (more so peanut butter), but with PB2, there has yet to be a Seinfeld moment acting out George dipping his finger into that pb jar.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: small; font-family: helvetica;">Thanks PB2. One important note &#8211; PB2 sales single serving/ individual packets online. This is awesome for people on the go or watching their servings.</span></div>
